Only individuals whose phone numbers are listed in your enforcement contract. This protects you from unauthorized tows. During onboarding you designate who is authorized — the strata manager, building manager, security, council members, etc.
No — you can request remotely and we attend. However, if your property has a secured parkade, someone must grant access or we'll need a fob on file.
Yes. For secured parkades we require a fob or access credential on file to respond without delay, particularly after hours. We strongly recommend providing a dedicated fob during onboarding.
We supply the signs but do not install them directly, as each property has its own construction standards, strata bylaws, and building codes. We can recommend qualified contractors and ensure all placement and wording meets compliance requirements.

No. The identity of the authorizing party is kept strictly confidential under our privacy policy. We never disclose who placed a tow request to the vehicle owner or any third party. If a vehicle owner disputes a tow, they contact us — we handle it on your behalf.

There is no cost to the property — ever. All towing, impound, and patrol enforcement fees are charged directly to the vehicle owner, not the strata or property. The provincial Lien on Impounded Motor Vehicles Regulation applies to police-ordered impounds under the Motor Vehicle Act — not private property enforcement. For private property towing, fees are not governed by that regulation. We set our fee schedule based on the actual costs of our specialized service and follow all local regulations applicable to our service area.

This Agreement is between the property owner or their authorized agent ("the Client") and Benjamin Towing Corp., operating as ParkingShield ("the Company"), located at 3050 Westwood St, Port Coquitlam, BC V3C 3L7. This Agreement is governed by the laws of British Columbia.
The Company agrees to provide private property towing and impoundment services for the property described in this Agreement. Services are provided as either ON-CALL (request-based) or PATROL (scheduled), or a combination of both, as selected by the Client. All patrol plans include on-demand tow request capability at no additional charge.
For ON-CALL service, the Company will only accept tow requests from authorized persons whose names, phone numbers, and/or official email addresses are listed in this Agreement. Any request from an unauthorized source will not be actioned. The Client must promptly notify the Company of any changes to authorized contacts.
There is no cost to the Client for any enforcement services. All towing and impoundment fees are charged directly to the owner of the towed vehicle. This applies to all service types including scheduled patrols.
The Company agrees to hold harmless the property owner and any authorized agent or manager from any action lawfully performed by the Company under this Agreement. The Client authorizes the Company to act as their agent in enforcing parking rules on the property.
The Company will supply up to 10 bylaw-compliant towing signs at no charge to the Client. Additional signs are available at cost. The Client is responsible for installation in accordance with their property's construction standards, strata bylaws, and any applicable municipal requirements.
The identity and contact information of any person who authorizes a tow request will be kept strictly confidential and will not be disclosed to the vehicle owner or any third party under any circumstances.
This Agreement is for a term of one (1) year from the date of signing and will automatically renew for successive one-year periods. Either party may terminate this Agreement by providing written notice via email or mail. Cancellation requires written confirmation. Temporary or permanent changes to patrol instructions or authorized contacts must be submitted in writing.
The Company carries full commercial liability insurance and is an ICBC authorized vendor. The Company operates all towing with care and in compliance with BC motor vehicle and towing regulations. The Company is not liable for pre-existing damage to vehicles.
